About Me!

My Background

Hello! My name is Maddy Morgan, my pronouns are she/her/hers and I am originally from Sioux Falls, SD. I was bit by the acting bug at age six, when I started performing in my community theatre’s plays and musicals & never looked back! In high school, Speech and Showchoir helped broaden my performance skills while still participating in plays and musicals at both school and through the community theatre. I went on to graduate with my BFA in Musical Theatre from Minnesota State University, Mankato in May of ‘23. I am known for my portrayal of larger than life roles, strong belt, and being quite the comedic character on and off stage!

Off Stage...

I have a passion for educating young children and am currently a lead daycare teacher in Mankato Minnesota, which I truly enjoy! I am also a part time Model at “FUN.com”. In my free time, I am often found reading a good book, watching a movie, catching up with friends, or out on the town meeting new ones!

Up and Coming

I am beyond excited to begin performances for a dream show, and role of mine, Penelope Pennywise in ‘Urinetown’ the Musical directed by Dr. Paul J. Hustoles! Performances are the weekends of January 17th - February 2nd at the Mankato Playhouse.

Headshot and Resume

Maddy Morgan seems to evoke the spirit of Madeline Kahn in both her acting and singing with her rendition of Penelope Pennywise
